I can officially confirm that a series of Doctor Who Audios has gone into production. The series, which is eight episodes in length, will feature Jake Hannam as the 14th Doctor and James Mortimer as his companion Bert MacKenzie. More details will be announced on the Doctor and companion nearer to release.
One episode script has already been completed, and the last writers for the series are being commissioned. The series will be released onto Soundcloud, and you can find the name of the Soundcloud on this blog's banner. Before the release, there will be several updates on here. These will include script updates and extracts, character details, episode titles, and casting announcements. There will also be an interview with Jake and James coming to Soundcloud, which will explain the backstory to the audio series, and let the audience know what lies ahead.

The Search for Writers
The search for writers for my audio adventures begins!
I'm hoping to expand the audio adventures I'm writing into new and original series, and I'm looking for writers to pitch ideas or to volunteer. I've no fixed ideas on what my new and original audio series will be, but I plan to do one, and looking for writers to help me develop ideas and then to write for the series itself is the next step.

Halloa!
It's been a long time since I've updated this, but I do have some updates concerning the series of 1st person DOCTOR WHO AUDIO ADVENTURES I've been writing. Episode One, still entitled Killer in the Crowd, has been reread and any slightly rubbish lines I've written have been tweaked. Episode One's ready for recording and I'm looking to invest in a microphone in order to record the adventures in a good quality.
There will be four episodes in the series, I hope, and I've begun to rewrite the second episode. The second episode is different in tone to the previous one, and begins to develop the relationship of the narrator Aiden with the other characters (these other characters will be revealed later on). There'll also be more details on enemies and extracts once I've recorded Episode One and completely Episode Two. They'll be available to listen to on Soundcloud and the link can be found here.
The only clue to Episode Two, as of yet, is the title of this blog entry. And to be quite honest, it's a very vague clue, and may lead you in completely the wrong direction :)

Series
This is just a quick update with a couple of bits of news.
1. VOICES
The competition for voices on the Voice Acting Alliance Forum has now closed, and the entries are being judged. An announcement of the winners and what/who they will voice will be here soon.
2. KILLER IN THE CROWD
When I get a decent microphone (or borrow one) I'll record and edit this, and it should be released around Spring 2012.
3. SPRING FIGURE ADVENTURES
I recently revealed I'll be working on Figure Adventures for release in Spring 2012, on my YouTube channel drwhogenesis. There will be TWO Figure Adventure projects released on the channel, and they'll be released Spring - Summer. The first two scenes have been edited for one of the projects.

2012
I write this with, in the UK, just over 6 hours to go to the New Year. 2012 should be a big year for new projects, and so exactly what projects will be happening next year?
-THE AUDIO SERIES
As detailed in my first blog entry here, I will be producing a Doctor Who audio series. They will be posted onto Soundcloud where they can be downloaded free of charge. More updates on the series, including titles and script extracts, will be given in January and February of 2012.
-NEW PROJECTS
I'm currently in the process of planning a new project, which will be worked on in 2012. If this project happens, then there will be an announcement on this blog.
-FIGURE ADVENTURES
As part of my other production company Eternal, I'm creating Doctor Who Figure Adventures, which are uploaded to my YouTube channel 'drwhogenesis'. "The Fallen", a DWFA starring the 11th Doctor & Amy, is released on New Year's Day. I'll also be working on new figure adventures in the Spring.
Hopefully 2012 will see these projects (listed above) and more.

Killer In The Crowds
The Foyla Praesidium is a blog explaining all upcoming projects made by production company Foyal Praesidium. The company's Twitter name is @cookiemonsta_eg and YouTube name is drwhogenesis. Foyla Praesidium also links with a production company called Eternal, who make fan made Doctor Who episodes.
The first thing that Foyla Praesidium will be producing is an audio series. It will follow the style of the Companion Chronicles, a popular series created by Big Finish Productions, and will follow the adventures of a character called Aiden and his relationship with the 1st Doctor and three of his companions. Confirmation of those companions, as well as announcements about the episodes, will be released soon. The series should feature four episodes, and the first one of these has already been written. It has the working title of Killer In The Crowds.
I'll be posting more about the audio series and other Foyla Praesidium projects very soon.
